One of the best ways to get ready for a Kilimanjaro climb is by taking part in one or more of our organised training walks or weekends. Get the ‘feel’ for the challenge ahead and build up that base level of fitness!

Led by experienced Action Challenge leaders, our training walks and weekends are also an excellent opportunity to get advice on training, equipment and nutrition – as well as meeting like-minded ‘Action Challengers’. This trek is specially designed to help those training to climb the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro! The night you attempt the summit can be daunting, so we have designed a training weekend replicating what to expect which will help you prepare for the toughest day of the upcoming trek. Our Snowdon night training weekend will see you trekking through the day, resting in the evening and then waking up around midnight to start the trek to the summit of Mount Snowdon. Be ready for the toughest part of the challenge, so come along and join us in bringing the Kilimanjaro summit night to the UK!
