WE ARE
We specialise in challenging outdoor events, and with 27 years’ experience we’ve built a reputation for organising unforgettable adventures across the globe. Based in the UK, we began with a focus on group travel to stunning destinations worldwide, creating fully-supported trips that empower ordinary people to achieve the extraordinary. We’re proud of the lengths we go to in order to deliver meaningful, life‑changing experiences. What truly sets our challenges apart is the way our groups bond, with new friendships formed and horizons widened.
Innovation is at the heart of what we do. Over nearly three decades, we’ve developed new itineraries and routes, unique twists on classic treks, and fresh ideas to support each challenger who joins us for an adventure.
In addition to delivering incredible overseas challenges, we can also deliver bespoke challenges here in the UK for companies and charities looking to push their staff further or generate unrestricted income. We work with hundreds of UK charities, and many of our participants combine their personal challenge with a fundraising journey, contributing to tens of millions of pounds raised for good causes.

Group Adventures

Then get a group of 20 or so like minded folk together – lay on top quality support including a UK Leader, a Medic, and the best local logistics team – and you have an Action Challenge trip!

Full Support - All the Way
Join an Action Challenge event – and we’ll support you from the moment you sign up. There’s a dedicated ‘Challenge App’ which houses all the details on what to expect & how to prepare – with access to training plans, training walks & weekends, kit hire services, and retailer discounts. You’ll get a video briefing before you head off – and on the challenge itself we have qualified mountain leaders & expedition medics on our overseas group trips, with the best local logistics teams to provide a top quality experience. On our UK mass participation events we have full medical teams, an expert signage team, specialist caterers, and a whole load more – as we strive to deliver the best challenge events in the market place – and we’re famous for it!

Our Values
We’re always seeking to provide better & unforgettable experiences for our customers, to deliver great value, provide the best support – with welfare & safety top of the list, and to enable people to push themselves further. We do our best to minimise any impact on the local environment & communities which we visit, and will often make a donation to an appropriate local organisation to help with the up-keep. Raising much needed funds for good causes is central to our work – and we deal with charities of all sizes on a fair and equitable basis. Visioning, planning, and delivering top quality challenge events needs a top quality team – and we are proud to be able employ hundreds of dedicated professionals to plan & operate our events, as well as developing many new young recruits each year.

Motivation, Wellbeing, engagement
Energise colleagues, boost wellbeing, engagement & loyalty, and ensure CSR objectives are on-track. We’ve planned & delivered Kilimanjaro climbs for many UK companies – including Harrods, HSBC, Blackrock, DHL, Citibank, Dell & PWC to its summit. We also organise many other corporate challenges – from British Gas & WPP on grand cycling tours, to hundreds of Tesco colleagues relaying the full length of Britain on foot.
