Just like a standard holiday! You pay an initial Registration Deposit online, and then the Final Balance of the trip cost (+ any fuel surcharge imposed by the airline if booking a ‘Flights Included’ package) – is invoiced 12 weeks prior to departure.

Climb for a charity of your choice!

Choose how much of the trip cost you want to cover yourself (including the initial online Registration Deposit) & also commit to fundraise at least twice the amount of the remaining balance (ie the portion you are not paying for). Your chosen charity pays us the final balance from this fundraising, with the rest being kept as a donation to help with their good work.

At least 80% of your fundraising target needs to be with the charity 12 weeks prior to departure (and all balances by 4 weeks after return). The balance of your contribution towards the trip cost & any airline imposed fuel surcharge (if booking a flights inc package) will be invoiced to you 12 weeks prior.

We have Kilimanjaro Packages both with and without flights. The ‘with flights’ option is based on an economy class group booking departing from London (you can request a quote for an ‘upgrade’). The ‘land only’ option means that you book your own flights, and arrange to join the group at the 1st night’s hotel / or airport meet point.

If you’re traveling across the globe – extending your trip may be the perfect opportunity to explore, relax, or do more activities! If you choose the ‘with flights’ option you can request a return flight date change – and either arrange your own extension programme & reservations – or  book one of our pre-arranged packages if available (safari or Zanzibar) 

Oil prices are volatile, and often airlines impose ‘fuel surcharges’.

Unfortunately we have to pass these surcharges on to our customers – as they’re ‘unknown’ at the time of booking (which may be up to 18 months in advance of the trip) – and the surcharge is invoiced 12 weeks prior to departure (once confirmed by the airline) – and is subject to a ‘cap’ – which is the maximum that you would ever need to pay (we cover the cost above that cap). Airport & air travel taxes are also potentially subject to change in times of post Covid recovery & CO2 emission control – and this is covered via our Terms & Conditions. 

All our quoted Kilimanjaro prices are based on a ‘twin share basis’ (ie with a friend / partner – or on a same sex allocated basis if travelling alone). You can request a ‘single supplement’ to cover hotel rooms / tent / lodge accommodation. 

You can choose to opt for a ‘Single Supplement’ as part of the sign up process, and secure with an additional £50 deposit.

The total cost if £180 to have your own tent (but share in a hotel), or £300 for your own tent & hotel room.

As with any adventure holiday, prices may be higher at certain times – generally reflecting the higher flight prices during those peak periods.
