Zanziber & Safari
Can’t decide between experiencing an African safari and relaxing on a beautiful tropical island? This package gives you the best of both worlds! First, we head out on safari and experience the wonders of two fantastic National Parks. We have the opportunity to see fantastic wildlife in the heart of the conservation area for a couple of days before heading over to Zanzibar for some well-deserved beach relaxation!
Costs & Fundraising
We depart early and drive through the rolling landscape of Lake Manyara NP where we will have the chance to see the thousands of flamingos for which the park is renowned for. We stop for a relaxing lunch before continuing with a game drive in the afternoon en route to before eventually reaching our lodge in our lodge located in the Karatu Highlands.
We rise early and enjoy a full day tour of the Ngorongoro Crater, this is Africa’s largest intact caldera, with awe-inspiring views from the crater’s rim to the floor which is 700m below. Chances are high that we will spot some great wildlife today and so make sure you have a good zoom on your camera!
This morning we have a fantastic walking safari experience to visit the Elephant Caves through the Ngorongoro forest. We will then return to our lodge for a relaxing lunch before we make the transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport for our short flight to Zanzibar.
Your well-deserved beach relaxation continues for the next few days depending on how many nights you have booked. How you spend your time in Zanzibar is entirely up to you! There are plenty of activities and day trips that the hotel can arrange for you or relax on a sun lounger on the beach!
Today you have the majority of the day to spend catching your last sun-rays before heading to Zanzibar airport to catch your flight back to the UK.
