Medical
Medical Questionnaire
All participants are required to complete a medical questionnaire once registering on to the challenge. If you have a pre-existing medical condition or are over 60 years of age, it is important that you detail this information on your form. You may also be required to have your form signed by your doctor. All questionnaires are totally confidential.
Fitness It is important that you are physically prepared for your Kilimanjaro Challenge. We don’t prescribe a detailed training program, but your training should incorporate aerobic, anaerobic, strength and flexibility exercises. Most importantly, you should get in some good hill walking, in the boots you are going to be wearing for the challenge. Carrying a day pack will also get used to what it will feel like trekking on Kilimanjaro. We also run weekends in Snowdonia and The Peak district which is a great way to boost your training and trek with others. Find our more >
Diet
It is important to keep a good diet and training for the Kilimanjaro Challenge is the perfect excuse. Cutting down on alcohol and fatty foods, and also cigarettes if you are a smoker will really help with your training.
