Itinerary: Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity
This 11 day trip to Tanzania is a once in a lifetime experience. We will be following the Machame route, which approaches Kilimanjaro from the South and provides spectacular views. Each day is different and you will be passing Kilimanjaro greatest features, including the Barranco Wall. Trekking with a group of like-minded supporters and experiencing the incredible hospitality of the fantastic Tanzanian crew, will all add to your mountain adventure.
Each day is different as you trek through the thick rainforest, before passing the impressive volcanic feature of Lava Tower. Experience an unforgettable moment as you reach the top of Barranco Wall, and make sure you have your camera to hand! We then trek slowly for a couple of days to high camp, ahead of our final push to Uhuru Peak - the roof of Africa! Celebrate your achievements with the local crew, then we share one last dinner at our hotel with medals, certificates and t-shirts!
Every single step you take will be changing the lives of the children treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the continued improvement of the hospital and its facilities. Sign up now to take on Kilimanjaro for a great cause!
